Having exceeded the 10 billion US dollar thresholdforfour consecutive years, bilateral trade in goods achieved an impressivenewrecord of 13.45 billion US dollars in 2024. China has establisheditselfasakey trading partner for Romania outside the EU. An ever-growingnumberof Chinese enterprises are directing their investments intoRomania,spanning sectors such as renewable energy, manufacturing, trade, andservices. Their contributions have not only generated substantial tax revenues but also created countless jobs, significantly enhancingRomania’seconomic and social development while improving the qualityof lifeforitscitizens. These achievements are made possible by the unwaveringsupportof the Romanian from all sectors present here today. I wouldliketosincerely thank all my friends who are committed to cultivatingmeaningfuleconomic and trade partnerships between us.

We must be confident in our ability to collaborativelysteer economic globalization toward the direction desiredbypeopleworldwide. China not only benefits from economic globalizationbut alsoplays a crucial role as a key advocate for its advancement. Chinahassteadfastly advocated for inclusive economic globalization, resonatingwith the aspirations of nations around the globe, especiallythoseofdeveloping countries.
