What if Raffaello were a dress? Raffaello, together with the fashion brand Mia Peculiar, are excited to announce the launch of the capsule collection “White Collection: A Dreamlike Poetry of Textures”, inspired by the iconic design of Raffaello’s specialties. The clothing creations are physically exhibited for the first time at Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week, on March 28 and 29, in a specially designed space, in the Royal Living Room, at the National Museum of Art of Romania, and the official launch for the general public will take place later, on the official Mia Peculiar website.

The “White Collection” line explores the subtleties of the relationship between texture, purity and femininity, essential in the Raffaello universe, but also in the vision of designer Costina Costa-Foru, creator of Mia Peculiar. “I wanted to translate the DNA of the Raffaello brand into a clothing collection that is not only visual, but also tactile and emotional. The delicate textures, fine transparencies and fluid cuts reflect the complexity and delicacy hidden in an apparent simplicity,” says Costina Costa-Foru.
Fashion as a multisensory experience
“Raffaello is more than a specialty candy, it is a multisensory experience and emotion. An important component of our communication strategy is the humanization of the brand, the direct interaction between the brand and the consumer. During the events, we not only expose the brand’s visual identity, but we always invite the public to enter its universe, to live unique experiences, to feel the emotion. This time, at Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week, we propose an exercise in imagination beyond the usual: what if Raffaello had been a dress? The Mia Peculiar collection is the interpretation of Raffaello’s timeless delicacy and elegance that we transmit through every detail of the product, whether we are talking about taste, texture or aesthetics”, declares Silvia Butolo, Country Marketing Manager Ferrero Romania.
The Raffaello by Mia Peculiar collaboration is a celebration of delicacy, refined simplicity and self-expression. An immersive collection detached from the cyclical nature of seasonal fashion, redefining white as the color of all emotions, occasions and expressions, reflecting the timeless elegance of Raffaello and the artistic, multi-textured femininity of Mia Peculiar.
The “White Collection” is made up of six outfits that perfectly express the balance between purity and sophistication, transparency and structure, simplicity and complexity. The elegant white, present in each creation, offers a modern reinterpretation of a color with a strong meaning and that goes beyond the conventional. The materials used – silk for fluidity, organza for a vaporous structure, delicate lace for finesse and subtle pearls as refined details – reflect the essence of a discreet distinction, similar to the layers of a Raffaello specialty. Each piece in the collection is a statement of femininity, in which transparencies harmoniously combine with architectural cuts, and vaporous layers create a fascinating play between texture and luminosity.
In this collection, fashion becomes a dialogue between sensation and texture, each outfit transposing the essence of Raffaello – purity, delicacy, refinement and spontaneity – into ethereal, dreamlike outfits. Presented in harmonious pairs, the outfits embody a distinct, tactile and emotional experience, evoking the desire to reward yourself with something light, fine and perfectly crafted. The contrast between textures, silhouettes and moods reflects the multidimensional nature of femininity, refined yet spontaneous, delicate yet strong. The material becomes an extension of feeling, transparency reveals authenticity, silk flows like an emotion, and lace whispers of craftsmanship. Each outfit is a poetic composition of touch and movement, inviting the wearer to embrace the beauty of transparency, spontaneity and timeless refinement.
