In a world where mobility and efficiency are essential, integrating SVT Electronics into the AROBS Group allows us to expand our offering of complex, innovative solutions for fleet management, transportation, and logistics. This acquisition marks another step in our strategic direction of investing in advanced technology solutions to accelerate our growth in the telematics market in Europe. We believe that SVT Electronics’ expertise in developing tachograph data collection equipment, as well as their digital analytics platform, will bring significant value to the AROBS ecosystem. Through this transaction, we reaffirm our commitment to investing in impactful technological solutions that meet the evolving demands of the fleet monitoring and management market. We will continue to support the digitalization and optimization of fleets serving the transportation and logistics industries. We appreciate the trust of the SVT Electronics team in joining us, and we are thrilled to work together to capitalize on the opportunities this collaboration creates, leveraging their experience and knowledge to add value to the more than 11,000 customers in the AROBS Group portfolio, stated Voicu Oprean, Founder and CEO of AROBS.

Founded in 2006 by five Romanian entrepreneurs, SVT Electronics now has over 20 specialists who develop and produce advanced electronic solutions used in the transportation industry. The company provides integrated solutions for managing digital tachograph data, essential for companies operating in the transportation and logistics sectors. In addition to tachograph data management solutions, SVT Electronics also offers telematics solutions for fleet monitoring. Its portfolio includes Tacho2Safe and Tacho5Safe, devices for manually downloading tachograph data; TachoSafe Remote Download (RDU) for automatic remote data retrieval; and TachoSafe Web, a digital platform for tachograph data analysis, reporting, and compliance with European regulations. To date, over 120,000 manual and offline TachoSafe data download devices, as well as more than 19,000 remote download devices, have been introduced to the market. Together with the SaaS-based TachoSafe Web platform, these solutions manage data for more than 19,000 vehicles and 23,000 driver cards each month.

Over the past 18 years, through constant and well-directed growth, we have successfully developed TachoSafe into a recognized brand on the European market. Our company has introduced internally developed products to the market, which we have continuously improved to meet the evolving demands of the market. Over time, these products have been complemented by our SaaS solutions. Joining the AROBS group opens up new opportunities for our products and services, providing clients with access to integrated solutions in the transport and logistics sector. SVT Electronics has always been open to change, the adoption of new technologies, innovative solutions, and bold steps in development. We see this transaction as a new strategic step that allows us to respond more effectively to the continuously changing demands of the market and deliver greater added value to our clients by leveraging the combined expertise and resources of both companies. Connecting our knowledge and experience with that of AROBS specialists, as well as expanding our joint markets, enables us to generate and capitalize on multiple synergies. As an innovative company dedicated to growth, we believe in change and in the fact that together we are stronger and better positioned to face future challenges,” stated Tibor Sajgó, CEO of SVT Electronics.

SVT Electronics’ products are widely used across Europe, with a distribution network covering 80% of EU countries, as well as non-EU markets. The company provides an intuitive interface and advanced functionalities for monitoring driving and rest times, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing fleet management in alignment with the EU Mobility Package requirements. In a constantly evolving legislative context that will soon mandate the installation of tachographs in light commercial vehicles starting next year, SVT Electronics, together with TrackGPS, will offer comprehensive solutions for transport operators looking to comply with the new regulatory and operational efficiency requirements.

The partnership with SVT Electronics brings additional benefits to our clients by adding essential services for the collection and interpretation of tachograph data, expanding our network of partner service centers across Europe, and strengthening our expertise in the design and production of equipment and sensors dedicated to the IoT industry. The integration of SVT’s solutions, alongside the latest developments in e-Transport, Routing and Optimization, and automated toll payment services, is part of TrackGPS’s strategy to provide freight transport managers, both domestic and international, with reliable solutions for ensuring compliance with current regulations at both local and European levels, stated Ovidiu Bojan, executive director of the software product business line, Fleet Management.

In 2024, the TachoSafe suite generated revenues of approximately 11 million lei and a net profit of 4.5 million lei. The management of SVT Electronics will remain unchanged, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of services. SVT Electronics’ financial results will be consolidated into AROBS’ financial statements upon completion of the transaction, which remains subject to certain conditions and regulatory approvals. The Optimoo, SVTech, and TSense products, previously owned by SVT Electronics, will not be part of the transaction and will be transferred to separate entities by the closing date, after which they will be managed independently.

With the acquisition of SVT Electronics, AROBS consolidates its position in the digital solutions market for transportation and logistics management, accessing new market segments, expanding its geographic footprint in Europe, and enhancing its product and service portfolio. AROBS is a market leader in fleet monitoring and management services in Romania and one of the key players in Central and Eastern Europe. Its services are delivered through the TrackGPS digital platform, with the Telematics Division currently serving over 11,000 customers across CEE and Asia, helping them optimize operations and fuel consumption for more than 130,000 vehicles.

This is AROBS’ first transaction following the share capital increase completed in July 2024, through which the group raised 28.7 million euros to support its growth strategy through acquisitions and international expansion. Regarding acquisitions for the development of the Telematics division, this is the fifth acquisition completed between 2018 and 2025, following SasFleet Romania (2018), Skyshield Hungary (2018), CDS GPS Romania, and AROBS TrackGPS Moldova in 2023.

On behalf of AROBS, the transaction was facilitated by the law firm Radu Tărăcilă Pădurari Retevoescu (RTPR) as legal advisor and by TS Partners for financial due diligence. On behalf of SVT Electronics, the transaction was facilitated by the law firm Radulescu & Musoi as legal advisors.
