FIC president, Daniel Anghel with the Executive Director, Alexandra Irimiea participated yesterday at the meeting of the Interim President of Romania, Mr. Ilie Bolojan with the business organisations.
🤝 FIC President highlighted the impact of FDI in Romania’s economy: companies with foreign capital represent a turnover of approximately 275 billion euros and employ more than 1.3 million employees. FIC messages focused on the security and stability of the country that can only be obtain through strong alliances (UE, NATO, OECD), the trend that we are seeing as investments are postponed due to the uncertainties and the importance of having a strategic approach to change the international perception of Romania in order to keep the country’s rating stable.
💡 The Interim President of Romania underlined the important role of foreign investments in the economy and reaffirmed Romania’s commitment to a firm Euro-Atlantic path.
The Foreign Investors Council’s main objective is to promote sustainable economic growth by improving Romania’s investment landscape. The FIC’s member companies believe that the dialogue between policy makers and the foreign investment community lies at the very heart of successfully improving the climate for investment while stimulating the development of the Romanian economy
