Bucharest Stock Exchange starts the week with growth, most indices register gains
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened the week on a positive trend, with most indices recording gains in the first 30 minutes of trading. The total turnover reached 5.3 million lei (approximately 1.07 million euros).
The BET index, which tracks the 20 most liquid companies, advanced by 0.43%, while BET-Plus, which includes 43 stocks, rose by 0.37%. Additionally, the BET-NG index, reflecting the performance of the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.51%.
On the other hand, the BET-FI index, which includes SIFs, registered a decrease of 0.71%, and the BET-BK index, tracking investment funds, lost 0.02%.
Among the biggest gainers were SIF Hoteluri (+12.10%), Promateris (+7.5%), and Societatea de Construcții Napoca (+4%). The largest losses were recorded by Romcab (-14.23%), TTS (-10.16%), and Alro (-7.67%).
