Marcel Ciolacu: “Romanians will travel visa-free to the U.S. starting in March – A historic moment”
Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that starting at the end of March, Romanians will be able to travel to the United States without a visa, marking what he described as “a historic moment” anticipated for over 16 years.
“Just ten days ago, we achieved full Schengen membership, and now the lifting of U.S. visa requirements. This truly represents Romanian success and is clear proof that we are now a respected nation,” the Prime Minister stated.
This decision highlights Romania’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its strategic partnerships and international relations, marking a significant step forward in its Euro-Atlantic integration. Ciolacu congratulated all those involved for their contributions to this major achievement.
