The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, has agreed to the declassification, in accordance with the law, at the request of the issuing institutions, of the information presented by the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defense (CSAT) on November 28, 2024, received today, December 4, 2024, at the editorial office of Nine O’Clock newspaper from the Presidential Administration:

Additionally, we mention that the resolution adopted by the CSAT members during the meeting on November 28, 2024, was forwarded at the end of the session to the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Special Telecommunications Service, the Permanent Electoral Authority, the Central Electoral Bureau, the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Ministry of Justice, and the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications to urgently undertake the necessary steps, in accordance with their legal competencies, to clarify the matters presented during the CSAT meeting.
