Bucharest Stock Exchange capitalization drops by 1.73% in the last week
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recorded a decrease in capitalization by 1.73%, amounting to 6.047 billion lei, during the period of November 18-22, 2024, compared to the previous week.
According to BVB data, total market capitalization reached 342.516 billion lei, down from 348.563 billion lei during November 11-15. However, the value of stock transactions increased significantly by 68.54%, reaching 489.259 million lei, compared to 290.287 million lei the previous week.
The main index, BET, closed the week at 17,134.54 points.
Key Stocks of the Week
- Antibiotice shares were the most traded on the main segment of the BVB, generating a turnover of 309.049 million lei, but saw a significant drop of 15.64%.
- Banca Transilvania had transactions worth 48.387 million lei, with a 3.26% decrease in share price.
- Hidroelectrica had transactions worth 40.717 million lei, with a 1.64% increase in share price.
