From November 26, the shares of TURBOMECANICA (TBM) and Prebet Aiud (PREB) will be included in the MSCI Frontier IMI and MSCI Romania IMI indices, indices which include Small Cap, Mid Cap and Large Cap companies.
They will be joined by TeraPlast (TRP), a company that is currently part of the MSCI Frontier and MSCI Romania indices, indices which only include Mid Cap and Large Cap companies. TeraPlast will be excluded from these indices and included in the MSCI Frontier IMI and MSCI Romania IMI indices, as the company’s capitalization was below the maintenance threshold for Mid Cap established by MSCI within the framework of this review.
Thus, the representation of the Romanian equity market in the MSCI Frontier Markets indices will increase from 32 to 34 companies. The changes follow the quarterly index review conducted by global index provider MSCI and published on Wednesday, 6th of November.
