Bucharest Stock Exchange records gains at the start of trading day

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) had a positive opening on Tuesday, with most indices showing an increase in the first 30 minutes of trading. The total turnover reached 2.8 million lei (approximately 563,671 euros), while the main index BET, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid listed companies, rose by 0.43%.

Additionally, the BET-Plus index, which includes 43 highly liquid companies, recorded a similar advance of 0.43%. Other indices, such as BET-XT, which brings together the 25 most liquid stocks, increased by 0.34%, while BET-BK, a benchmark for investment fund returns, climbed by 0.25%. The energy and utilities sector was supported by the BET-NG index, which advanced by 0.31%, and BET AeRO, dedicated to representative companies on the AeRO market, had a modest gain of 0.05%.

The only index in decline was BET-FI, which measures the performance of Financial Investment Companies (SIF), recording a decrease of 0.39%. The largest gains were seen in the shares of Impact Developer & Contractor (+3.03%), Antibiotice (+2.29%), and Prebet (+1.96%). In contrast, companies such as Bermas (-4.03%), Șantierul Naval Orșova (-3.27%), and Compa (-2.56%) experienced declines.
