Bucharest Stock Exchange records transactions of 47.69 million lei on Tuesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Tuesday’s session on an upward trend, with most indices rising, and the total value of transactions reached 47.69 million lei (approximately 9.58 million euros).

The most traded shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with volumes of 9.44 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom at 6.98 million lei and Electrica at 4.42 million lei, according to information provided by Agerpres.

The main index of the exchange, BET, which reflects the performance of the top 20 traded companies, increased by 0.76%, reaching 17,504.24 points. Additionally, the BET-Plus index, which tracks the most liquid 43 shares, rose by 0.72%.

In contrast, the BET-FI index, which includes the shares of financial investment companies, declined by 0.76%. The BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment fund returns, registered a 0.24% increase, while the BET-NG index, which analyzes companies in the energy and utilities sector, closed up by 1.12%.

On the other hand, the BET AeRO index, which comprises 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, experienced a slight decline of 0.04%.
