On September 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the “Movers & Shakers – Today’s Role Models for Tomorrow’s Generation” conference took place at Victoria Palace, Transilvania II Hall. The event was organized by MediaUno Press Group, the Department for Sustainable Development, the National Institute of Statistics, and the MediaUno Association. It was dedicated to leaders who are building the future of Romania.
The conference is part of the “Together We Protect Romania” project, now in its 24th edition. On this occasion, the “Movers & Shakers 2024” yearbook was launched,dedicated to models of excellence from the most important socio-economic and security fields: Diplomacy, National Security, Sustainable Development, Agriculture, Health, Social, Research, Energy, Education, Transport, Industry, Telecommunications, Digitalization and Cybersecurity, Finance & Banking, Insurance, Culture, and Sports. The printed version of the “Movers & Shakers 2024” catalog will be distributed by Manpres.
Among the distinguished attendees were leaders from various fields, including bankers, diplomats, business leaders, hospital managers, and representatives of the Romanian Armed Forces. Notable guests included Mrs. Anca Dragu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova; His Excellency Kap-soo Rim, Ambassador of South Korea; Her Excellency Lili Evangelia Grammatika, Ambassador of Greece; Virginia Oţel – Communication Leader Garanti BBVA Romania, Mrs.Anamaria Diaconescu, Mrs. Florina and Mr. Manea and Mrs. Delia Sfetcu.
Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with some of the leaders whose success stories are featured in the yearbook. Key topics discussed at the conference included:
