In a recent Facebook post, South Korean Ambassador to Romania, H.E. Kap-soo Rim, shared his experience of a trip around Transfăgărășan, highlighting the breathtaking beauty of the Romanian landscape. His Excellency, who has been serving as the South Korean Ambassador in Bucharest since March 2022, posted several images on Monday, September 2nd, showcasing the stunning views of the Transfăgărășan and the Bâlea Lake area. Among the photos, it was evident that he also encountered several bears along the way.
“I took a short trip to Transfăgrasan. The breathtaking view cleared my mind. Romania is such a blessed country. I hope many Korean tourists can share my feeling and sense of awe.
BTW, I stayed in Romania during this summer, spending my time and money in Romania and feeling the beauties of Romania.,” wrote H.E Kap-soo Rim.
Ambassador Kap-soo Rim has been a strong advocate for Romania, frequently expressing his admiration for the country on social media. He has been particularly captivated by Romania’s natural landscapes and has consistently praised the country in his posts.
During his tenure, Ambassador Kap-soo Rim has also taken note of Romania’s achievements, including the performance of the Romanian team at the European Football Championship in Germany, which impressed H.E. earlier this summer.
His Excellency also noted in a Facebook post, “Nice surprise to see that many newspapers and media carried my short travel to Transfagarasan. I just wanted to share the beauties, stunning sceneries and my own feeling of wonder and respect to Romania with my Korean friends. And it is well received by Romanian friends. I truly hope as many Korean tourists as possible to come to Romania and to share my feelings.”
