Temporary Changes in Train Traffic

Due to infrastructure work between the Tecuci – Tecuci Nord – Frunzeasca stations, requested and carried out by CFR SA, the railway administrator, there will be changes in the operation of the following passenger trains.

From September 25th to 29th, 2024:
– The IR 1832 train from Cluj Napoca – Iași – Tecuci – Galați will run according to schedule on the Cluj Napoca – Iași route but will be canceled on the Iași – Galați route.

From September 26th to 30th, 2024:
– The IR 1660 train from Iași – Tecuci – Bucharest North will be canceled.
– The IR 1661 train from Bucharest North – Tecuci – Iași will be canceled.
– The IR 1830 train from Galați – Tecuci – Iași – Cluj Napoca will be canceled on the Galați – Iași route but will run according to schedule on the Iași – Cluj Napoca route.
– The IR 1864 train from Iași (08:03) – Tecuci – Galați (12:11) will be replaced by train IR 12864, which will run with a modified schedule on the Iași (departure at 12:30) – Bârlad – Frunzeasca – Tecuci – Galați (arrival at 17:02) route.
– The IR 1866 train from Galați (16:20) – Tecuci – Iași (20:38) will be replaced by train IR 12866, which will run with a modified schedule on the Galați (departure at 18:05) – Tecuci – Bârlad – Frunzeasca – Iași (arrival at 22:14) route.
– The R 6312 and R 6313 trains from Iași – Tecuci and return will be canceled.

Ticket Refunds
Passengers who have tickets for the affected trains can request a refund for the unused tickets (either for the entire route or for the unused portion), in accordance with the current Railway Transport Regulations. Details are available at www.cfrcalatori.ro, under the Domestic Traffic/Trip Cancellation section.

– By calling the phone numbers of the CFR stations listed on www.cfrcalatori.ro under the TELEPHONE INFORMATION section – https://www.cfrcalatori.ro/informatii-telefonice/
– In the “TRENUL MEU” application (https://bilete.cfrcalatori.ro/ro-RO/Itineraries), by entering the exact train number in the indicated box and clicking on Train Information. Real-time information about stops, delays, minutes of stationing in the next station, and the estimated arrival time is provided.
– On the company website www.cfr.ro, where the webcams in the stations of Bucharest North, Henri Coandă Airport, Timișoara, Craiova, Brașov, Iași, Cluj Napoca, and Constanța are functional and constantly updated, showing the arrival/departure times of the trains.
– On the website www.cfrcalatori.ro, under Domestic Traffic Train Schedule.
