Participation of Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu at the opening of the 4th edition of the Forum of Romanian Students Worldwide

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu opened today the 4th edition of the Forum of Romanian Students Worldwide, an event dedicated to young Romanians from around the globe. In his speech, Ciolacu praised the participants’ efforts to contribute to Romania’s development and emphasized the importance of their energy and creativity for the country’s future.

The Prime Minister highlighted the positive changes in the Romanian economy and the importance of technological education, announcing an allocation of over 1 billion euros for dual education in the next five years. This fund aims to prepare new generations of specialists and combat youth unemployment.

Ciolacu encouraged students to apply the knowledge gained abroad in Romania and challenged the League of Romanian Students Abroad to contribute to the country’s development. He also proposed measures to support young people returning from the diaspora, including tax incentives for capital repatriation. In conclusion, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to finding the best solutions to support Romanian youth.
