Saint-Gobain Romania kicks off a new edition of the “Saint-Gobain National Trophy”, a competition addressed to builders, architects and facade designers in Romania who are encouraged to enter in the competition exceptional projects carried out starting in 2020 and which will be completed by December 31, 2024.
Saint-Gobain National Trophy Romania is a unique event, a chance to affirm excellence in the field of construction, with recognition among the community of construction specialists in Romania and a launching pad towards the international events Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy and Saint-Gobain Glass.

International Event
All companies that have built or are in the process of building a building using Saint-Gobain solutions, respectively: partition walls and dry plasters, fixed and removable false ceilings, smoke exhaust ducts, can enter this competition. , ventilation, fire protection of metal structures, floating screeds, plastering and glazing works, glazing, etc. Registration in the contest is free.
Contest duration and evaluation criteria
Projects can be entered until October 31, 2024, with the winners to be announced in December. They will be appointed by a specialized jury that will evaluate the projects based on specific criteria: excellence in execution, use of Saint-Gobain solutions, sustainability, quality of presentation.
The local stage includes projects carried out both with products from the Saint-Gobain Construction Products Romania portfolio and with those from the Saint-Gobain Glass portfolio. Works that exclusively use Saint-Gobain Glass solutions will be judged according to specific evaluation criteria, while those that combine solutions from both portfolios will be evaluated according to the standard criteria, mentioned in the competition regulations.
Categories
Participants will be able to enter projects in one of seven distinct categories: Residential, Culture, Education and leisure, Business and institutions, Facades, Ceilings, Innovation, Glass-based solutions. Each category is evaluated on specific criteria, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
