PSD-PNL Talks Delayed Over Dispute on Common Candidates
In a setback for the PSD-PNL coalition, leaders have decided to postpone the scheduled meeting that was supposed to address electoral alliances and the merging of elections. A new session has been rescheduled for Wednesday, according to news.ro.
Despite two meetings earlier this week, on Monday and Friday, leaders of the two parties were unable to reach an agreement. The primary point of contention revolves around PSD’s request to establish and field common candidates for the positions of president and general mayor of the Capital.
