The hybrid event, held in Paris, marked a crucial phase in Romania’s journey toward aligning with OECD standards.

Led by Mircea Abrudean, the Secretary-General of the Government, Romania’s delegation included key representatives from institutions pivotal to the in-depth analysis of the Economic Study. Participants hailed from the National Commission for Strategy and Forecasting, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Environment, Waters, and Forests, National Bank of Romania, and the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.

Hybrid Engagement: Over 100 Online Representatives Support Romania

The meeting, in its hybrid format, saw the active online participation of over 100 representatives from various ministries, institutions, and central authorities. These participants played a crucial role in supporting Romania’s position before the representatives of the 38 member states of the Committee for Economic Evaluation and Development.

Data Collection Efforts: A Collaborative Initiative

The national coordination team, operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government’s General Secretariat, collaborated with the National Commission for Strategy and Forecasting to ensure comprehensive data collection across Romania for the study.
