International Comedy Film Festival Film 4 Fun to take place November 3-5, in Bucharest

Film 4 Fun, celebrating this year its 15^th edition, is an international comedy film festival taking place in Romania. During the previous editions, we were honored by the participation of actors, directors, screenwriters, film critics, prominent personalities from the film and theater industry nationally and internationally. This year Film 4 Fun festival will take place between 3 – 5 November in Bucharest, Cinema Eforie!

In addition to the international competition’s film screenings, the festival program will include other cultural activities, such as theater performances, master classes, workshops, music concert, photography exhibition, as well as screenings of feature films out of competition.

Film 4 Fun Festival is organized by Cine Remember Foundation.

Cultural knowledge is essential for the personal development of children, teenagers, and young people, actually of society as a whole. Culture must be perceived as an important component in the formation of every young person and regarded as one of the essential aspects of education.

Cine Remember Foundation was born in 2008, on the initiative of a group of professionals with experience in film art. Our stated goal is to promote Romanian film and new generations of filmmakers, in an attempt to bring audiences back to cinemas.

The experiences of the past few years show that the evolution of Romanian cinema is again on an ascending curve, after a long period of survival in a sea of indifference. The bar is raised year after year, with each participation in international or domestic film festivals, and with each award won.

We are currently witnessing an evident change of generations. Young filmmakers leaving the faculty must be supported in their efforts to demonstrate their talent and professionalism, while encouraging competition and imposing new standards in cinema.
