30 years since Romania’s accession to the International Organization of La Francophonie

On September 21, 2023, the Romanian Embassy in Luxembourg organized a final event dedicated to celebrating 30 years since Romania’s accession to the International Organization of La Francophonie, featuring the screening of the documentary film “Maria, the Heart of Romania,” produced by Chainsaw Europe.
With a large audience comprising diplomatic representatives and the Romanian community in Luxembourg, the event allowed those present to discover unique aspects of Queen Maria’s life, the figure closely associated with the achievement of the Great Union of 1918 and the creation of modern Romania.
To kick off the evening, the Romanian Ambassador to Luxembourg delivered a brief welcome address, expressing gratitude to those who responded to the invitation to attend this exceptional screening and highlighting the personality of Queen Maria
